Travel Tuesdays: Montreal, Canada

I’ve traveled a ton for someone my age. There’s nothing like cruising into a new town or city and hoping for the best. I’ve had several weekends in Montreal; my college town of Burlington, Vermont is an hour and a half drive from the Canadian city, so I’ve ventured forth a few times. When I was in college, I spent much more time there, as I had a boyfriend who was there for the semester.

Notables for Montreal include: the Biodome, the Jardin de Botanical, Chinatown, the site of the Olympics, and Place Des Artes, the arts district. St. Catherine Street is the scene for many a college visitor, as there are bars and strip clubs galore, but for me, it’s close to Juliette & Chocolat, the most delectable shop I’ve ever visited.
