Be still, my heart

Kismet.

Word of the week. Powerful, in letting go and letting the Universe take the lead. People coming into your life, when they’re right. You’re aware it’s a fit, because, well, it’s wonderful, and it works.

I bartend at music festivals, most recently, Mountain Jam. This was my 8th year doing this gig. I love it, whenever I am there, I start at 10 or 11am, listen to music and work all day, meet nice people, and get done between midnight and 3am. I do it every year. This was the 11th annual Mountain Jam, and my 8th season- magic numbers. 8, infinity, 11, oneness. God was there, I felt it, and love was there, too.

Not to say anything which hasn’t already been said on here, but your intuition is the most powerful tool in your toolbox. Asking God, inner voice, or Truth, “Guide me- where do I move next, who do I speak to next, what do you need me to do to fulfill my soul purpose on Earth?” can lead to Destiny.

Love abound, trust it, when it comes. Whenever someone enters your realm, it’s a reason, a season or a lifetime. We’re humans, we’re not psychics or mystics; love isn’t easy, it’s hard work, but it should be fluid. It would look a lot like light and feel a lot like home. You shouldn’t have to try, and if you’re trying, recognize it, and let that part go for now. You’re happier when you’re in the flow, right? So jam, jam on, and jam out.

Trusting the process and what’s happening is the most exciting and ridiculously hard thing I’ve been practicing lately. Every time the song “Neon Lights” by Demi Lovato comes onto my shuffle, it reminds me of being backstage at Miss Vermont America in 2014. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was backstage, about to walk in front of 500 plus people in swimwear. The song says, ” Be still, my heart, cuz I’m freaking out, I’m freaking out, I’m freaking out.” It’s sort of like that- your ego and your mind want to be in control.

Are you ready to relinquish all you’re struggling hard to hold onto, and just be? Good. I am so ready.
